League Director

Bryce Young

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Young was a key contributor to the Terrapins' 2017 National Championship victory and earned All-American honors twice during his collegiate career. His remarkable performance and dedication to the sport have solidified his reputation as one of the top players in lacrosse.

Currently, Young plays for the Boston Cannons in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), where he continues to make a significant impact with his dynamic play. Beyond his professional career, Young has also made notable contributions to the lacrosse community as the head boys lacrosse coach and Director of Communications at St. Joseph Academy in Hammonton, NJ.

Luc Swedlund

Luc Swedlund is a standout lacrosse player recognized for his impressive versatility and skill on the field. With a background of success at the collegiate level, Swedlund has distinguished himself through his strong offensive play and tactical intelligence. His contributions have not only helped his teams achieve significant victories but have also earned him accolades and respect within the lacrosse community.

Swedlund is now bringing his expertise to Mainland Regional as the new Head Boys Lacrosse Coach. In this role, he is dedicated to developing young talent and fostering a competitive and supportive environment for the team. His experience and passion for the sport are set to make a significant impact at Mainland Regional.

In addition to Swedlund’s Playing and coaching experience, he has 8 years of expertise in event management as the Director of Operations for STEPS Lacrosse. Swedlund oversees the execution of many of the most prestigious lacrosse events in the country Including American Select Lacrosse, Lax for the Cure, Live Love Lax, The Nike G8, XPO Prospect Camps, Lax by the Sea, USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals & The Maryland Cup Showcase.

Mark DiFrangia

Mark DiFrangia is a prominent figure in the lacrosse community, recognized for his exceptional skills and leadership on the field. A standout player during his time at St. John's University, DiFrangia has demonstrated a high level of athleticism and strategic acumen, earning respect and recognition from peers and coaches alike.

Currently, DiFrangia contributes his expertise as a coach at Mainland High School, where he is deeply involved in developing young talent. In addition to his high school coaching role, he works with Mainland youth programs, reflecting his commitment to fostering the next generation of lacrosse players and promoting the sport at all levels.
